Question PC not booting after switching main power button

Hi folks,

I'm facing a problem with my PC which doesn't want to boot. When I switch on the main power button [ I | O ], the fans does 10 degree rotation and stops. The front LED blinks. The GPU fans are turning.
Neither start or reset button us doing anything.

Where could be the issue ? Wire or power issue ?

Did it used to work fine before? (or is it a new build?)

- Check the front panel connections to see if they are connected properly.
- Make sure all the cables are plugged in properly, and all components seated properly. (disconnect the cables and components, and reconnect them to ensure)

Short the pwr and ground pins on the motherboard front panel header.
If the motherboard starts, the problem is with your case power switch or wiring.

It's not a new config, but i recently moved it from it's original spot.
I tried to push every cable entering the motherboard.

Do you mean, by doing a bridge between + and gnd of power button pins ?

Since this worked before,
Likely during the move the front panel power button and cable came loose or was damaged.

- Unplugged all pins LED, PW and RESET from power section of the motherboard
- Connecting PW pins for a solid 2 sec doesn't start the booting neither.

Just to confirm, can I connect PW + to any GND pin ?

Most likely a bad power supply. I have a power supply tester that I normally use for this. But there is a paperclip trick for them as well.

Confirming, the pwr pin is a momentary switch that can connect to any ground.

Recheck app your connections and check that ram is seated.

You got it right guys ! A side of main power supply pins was not fully plugged in.
