Question PC not booting properly

Hi all, I've recently been experiencing issues with my PC (i7 6700k, gtx 980ti, rm1000x, 1tb samsung 850evo, asus gaming z170 pro) not booting up properly. Usually when I push the power on button the fans will start spinning (loudly), the fan LEDs will go on and the small microphone LED on my headphones will go on, but my keyboard and mouse don't light up, and the PC its self wont seem to boot. Usually to get it to boot I have to restart it multiple times and it will eventually boot and then fans speed will lower. When it doesn't boot nothing displays from either the GPU or motherboard, but the motherboard LEDS still go on...

Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?

Do a memory test, check your disc for health. You will have to rule out things.

is that 6700K overclocked? and what are your ram... and list it like

Yeah I've checked the RAM and storage and neither have faults detected...

6700k isnt overclocked,
CPU=i7 6700k
MB= Asus z170 pro gaming
RAM= 16gb hyperx
GPU= MSI gtx 980ti
PSU= Corsair RM1000x
CPU Cooler= Corsair H60
CASE= NZXT source 210 tempered glass.

I would check with another PSU if possible... do you have a usb hub connected by chance?

When you do get it to boot everything works ok? No bsod?

Not that it discovers your problem, but you could just set it to go to sleep when not in use, and just move mouse to bring it back to life. Maybe that would work better for you.
