Current Issues: 1) PC will crash to a blank screen while gaming but I can still hear sound and a windows error sound occurs, but i have no way to tell what error it is.
2) When I start my PC only the PSU powers on with its fans spinning the rest of the PC is dead. The only way to fix it is by replugging the 24 pin connector.

Yesterday GTA V was running at 30 fps after repluging all PSU connector the game runs with 60 fps with the same settings. Is the PSU not supply enough power or is it GPU related?
I have done memory tests as well as removing the GPU but it still wont start.
Im thinking that its mostly probably PSU or Motherboard issues. Any help and advice will be appreciated!

PC:
PSU: Corsair GS800
RAM: 2x 4GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator Platinum
SSD: 256GB Samsung EVO
MB: Z87 ASrock Pro 4
GPU: GTX 970 gigabyte
CPU: i5 4670k

Is the cable taut (tight) after you connect it? That might pull it out a bit and cause the issue. You could try giving it some more slack.

If that doesn't work, you could try a different PSU or motherboard if you can get your hands on any and see if you can replicate the issue.

Thanks for the reply, The cables aren't tight enough to be pulling loose. I don't have another PSU or motherboard to test it on. Just want to narrow down the problem and try replace the part.
