PC not booting up after installing drivers for a R9 390

I've tried installing Crimson 15.12 drivers and Crimson 16.7.3 drivers with no success. Both end with me looking at a black screen after the windows 10 loading screen. I've tried uninstalling the drivers using DDU in safe mode and reinstalling them manually but, once again, no success.

Are you connecting the monitor to the correct display output (plugging monitor into display output on motherboard instead of GPU)?
