I have a Asus GL752V which i Yesterday tried to charge with an universal charger.. ( i know...) because i didnt have my original adapter, which i have now.

Now the problem is, that the batteri seems to be working fine, since i could boot and operate the system untill it died from power.
The adapter seems to be working as Well, i tested it on another pc, but my pc wont charge anyhow.

Does anyone have an idea of what the problem might be, since i assume the motherboard, charger and batteri is working ?

I would take it to a technician. there is not much you can do with a laptop. it could be power supply but i am just guessing. not enough data and facts. your charger could be bad, test that first. i would not trust a knock-off universal charger, get another one for your pc and see if that fixes it

it's either the charger, the battery or the pc somewhere and it's old. how much good money do you want to sink into this? much better stuff around now.

I'm taking it to a techinician later today or tomorrow then.
I tested with another adapter, with the same results and i doubt its the batteri since I could use the power left on it.
But Im woundering what component inside the PC that could have died, so that the PC just wont charge, but still can boot if theres power.

The universal adapter i used can change polarities, so Im afraid it went wrong here.

My PC is 3-4 years old now, but it was trible the price of the PC you linked, so I hope I wont have to invest too much, but I probably have no choice.

Me too. I might be lucky and get it fixed easily. I use it for my study so it would be impossible to get a computer as strong again for now, since I cant afford it at this time.
Thanks for your quick replays.
