I just bought this expansion card for my computer "KONYEAD pcie4.0 x16 to m.2 m-Key nvme x 4 ssd Expansion Card" from amazon. It says bifurcation required and I went into my bios on my pc and it says I have it auto enabled. I put 4 1tb Samsung 980 Pros on the expansion card but my pc is only detecting one drive and not all 4. It isn't even showing roughly the 3.5 tb of storage I should have on it after the formatting of the disk. The only thing is, is that I can't access my pcei lane 1 since my gpu is taking up too much space to fit it in there. I have a Gigabyte b550 UD AC motherboard so I'm not sure if I need to have it in the pcei lane 1 for it to work but I'm not sure.

4 drives need 16PCIe lines so needs to be plugged in PCIe x16 slot with all 16 lines free but they are usually shared between slots. That includes MB mounted M.2 slots.
