Pc not detecting Power line adapter Ethernet cable

So basically today I bought a power line adapter to give my pc internet without dragging cables all over my house, however after pairing the two and putting both in their places they my pc won’t detect the Ethernet cable. It just states it doesn’t see anything, help would really be appreciated!

Try another cable, make sure you can connect directly to the router with the system. Maybe try doing a reboot of the adapters.

Try to troubleshoot your Ethernet connection by doing the following:

1.Right click on the wifi (because your Ethernet is not being detected)
2. Then press Troubleshoot Problems.

Or open the sharing center and trouble shoot from there.

Try to plug your router in to a direct plug in the wall from your router.
