Question Pc not displaying after changing cpu

Hey, so I just switched my cpu from a intel pentium g4560 to this https://www.newegg.com/intel-core-i3-6th-gen-core-i3-6100t/p/N82E16819117640?item=9SIA6ZP4PB1082 but when I did that my pc would turn on but not show any display on my monitor while fans and lights are on, but after I tried going back to my g4560 but it still wouldn’t turn on do you know why? Thanks my motherboard is a msi b250m pro-vdh and I’m sorry because I don’t know a lot about PCs

The CPU should be compatible out of the box (shouldn't require a BIOS update looking at MSI's website).

Are all connections secure? Thinking of CPU fan as a possibility. Double check installation.

Hey thanks man, i found out it was that i didnt power the cpu and another question, does a https://www.newegg.com/msi-geforce-gtx-1060-3gt-oc/p/N82E16814137266?Item=N82E16814137266 fit with a msi b250m pro-vdh thanks

It will work with the motherboard. Just check if your PSU can handle it (MSI's website suggests a minimum of 400W and requires a 6-pin cable).
