I just built my PC, I started it and it all worked fine played games on it and it ran well, I decided to get a liquid cooler, and also got a 8 slot 4 pin splitter so I could have 3 corsair rgb fans going. After installing these 2 things I started the pc for the first time and smoke starting coming out of one of the fans, the rgb wire had completely melted. I removed the fan and the splitter. Turned it on again and now have red debug light on mobo, its the cpu one that's on. I have no signal going to monitor, mouse or keyboard.
The cpu fan is definitely plugged in.
I have tried almost everything I have read online about this issue.
I am about to buy a new CPU and if that doesn't work, a new MOBO. I can't work out what's wrong with it and it's driving me mad
