pc not joining domain on window 7

at my company, i had to format a pc which was on a domain network. but now the pc cant join the domain...

Did you name it the same? Remove the old one(with the same name).

Is your DNS correct. Did you use the fully qualified domain name for the domain to join.

thanks, I removed the old pc name and replaced with a different...logged off, rebooted and joined the domain.
