Hello,
As title reads, I have problems after installing a new CPU...
MOBO: GA-A320M-S2H
CPU: AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600G
RAM: VENGEANCE® LPX (1 x 8GB) DDR4 2400MHz C16
It's my wife's PC, and this is the 3rd CPU I have bought for her system since 2018.
I started out with a 7th Gen A8-9600 and continued with an AMD Ryzen™ 3 3200G .
I have also made several changes to my PC, so not a fist timer in CPU swapping.
I think I have done everything correct, and checked thrice, but still can't make the PC post when the new CPU is installed.
According to Gigabyte, the 5000g series is supported after F55 Bios version.
I flashed the mobo from F40 to F56a and boot smoothly into windows, so the flashing was a success.
The system is only having an M.2 SSD and an optical drive connected, so no extra devices that could create conflicts exist.
I have also swapped the Ryzen 3 and Ryzen 5 three times with the same results.
PC boots windows with the old one, and doesn't even post with the new one.
There are no damaged/bent pins or dust on the new CPU.
Any ideas on what could be the problem?
Cause at the moment, all I can think of is that I received a D.O.A part (which is kind of rare for a CPU)
