Hey guys, I recently built a new gaming computer on Christmas and it was working fine the first 2 days, but we had a power outage that flickered several times and since then the computer fans will start spinning but it will not post. From doing research on people with the same issue, I have tried resetting the cmos several times and reseating the ram/using one stick at a time. I also went to BestBuy and the geeksquad employee told me that the psu or the mobo were the most likely candidates, so I replaced both of those but it will still not boot up. Here is my original build. For the replacements I bought a corsair rm750e instead of the original psu I had, and I bought the same motherboard again which was the msi b450m-a pro max ii. I don't usually resort to help here, but I have tried every fix I could find so I'm not sure what else could be the issue. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Does your CPU have integrated graphics? You should try using that instead of the GPU, your GPU could be causing it to look like its not POSTing because there's no display output. At the same time, disconnect all the miscellaneous case I/O on the motherboard. Many times during power surges a USB port will fry itself and cause a short circuit on startup, and it could be one of the daughterboards for the front I/O.

It could have fried the CPU as well, but you need to test things one at a time.

At the very least your down to 3 pieces of hardware to test.

CPU
Memory
GPU.

Keep your hard drive un plugged while testing. Were just trying to boot to BIOS

I would test parts out of the case on a table.

And like said above remove the GPU out of the mix If CPU has IGPU.

If you can than your down to CPU/ memory.

I just returned the motherboard for a msi b550-a pro because it has the ez debug led. Now when I boot the system the debug lights turn on for a second in order and then none of them come on, leading me to believe that the psu is problem because the new motherboard I just got indicates that nothing is wrong. But this is kind of confusing me because the psu is new from bestbuy and I bought it after the power went out and the system stopped working, so I'm not sure why that would be the problem, any insight would be appreciated
