I used PC specialist to check if my parts were compatible before buying any parts. Now i have bought all the parts and built the PC it doesnt post. Furthermore, there are very faint beeps but I don't believe they are the bios beeps and all the fans, GPU led, case led and counter on motherboard are on.

After this I checked with PC part picker and it says "Some Intel X99 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Broadwell-E CPUs". Additionally, it says my motherboard is not compatible with my case.

So do I need to update my motherboard bios, get a new case, acknowledge the faint beeps as the bios beeps or something else?

Here are my parts:

Motherboard
ASUS X99-E WS/USB 3.1

CPU
Intel Core i7-6900K 3.2GHz

GPU
Nivida GeForce Titan X (pascal)

Wireless card
ASUS PCE-AC68 Wireless PCIe Card

Ram
Kingston 64GB 2666MHz DDR4 (kit of 4)

Case
Gaming Tower ATX Chassis Fractal R5 Black

CPU cooler
Noctua NH-d15s

Cooler MasterG650M 650W 80PlusBronze

SSD
Kingston HyperX Savage Series 2.5" 240GB

HDD
Seagate 1TB 1000GB 3.5" Barracuder 7200RPM

Hm, i see. Usually you can search up the beep "code" on internet and see what the problem is.
In your case it is a bit hard to tell... however can you try using one ram and boot it? Try on different slot and with different rams (see if you get one failed ram).

What does the beep sound like? short or long, and how many beeps are there?

You can try updating bios, however, you have a skylake processor and not a broadwell e....

As long as you can put the motherboard securely into the case, it is compatible. Furthermore, I've never heard of that an incompatible case will make your pc not post @@

There is 1 short beep with a 3-4seconds gap, then there are a few rapid beeps in a row. Due to how quiet and close together they are it is hard to distinguish how many beeps there are. After that there is another gap around 3-4seconds long and then repeats the same cycle of beeps.

I was a bit confused about the case not being compatible as well because it supports ATX motherboards and my board fits in well.

Well, it works now but I literally changed nothing maybe one of the cables were loose, so I just wasted a couple days. Though, the main point I learned was an x99-e ws motherboard bios beeps are really quiet.

Now I do have a new problem that there are no pci-e slots on my motherboard and my network card requires one. I should have noticed from the pictures but i just trusted pc part picker and pc specialist.

Anyway thanks for the help.

Ahh I helped nothing at all.... thanks still!

p.s. That's why I rarely use pc part picker lol :)
