So I built my first build back in may, specs here https://pcpartpicker.com/user/testedbinkie94/saved/xTFLkL it worked perfectly fine for about three days. Then, it started crashing whenever I played games even though temps were fine and drivers were updated. One day I got the blue screen and I was stuck with my current problem. All lights and fans turn on and spin, but no display. The led on my motherboard displays that there is no gpu, even though it's in the slot. I was told that this is because ryzen has no integrated graphics though. So I took it to a repair shop and they said faulty mobo. So I rma'd it, got it back, and I have the same exact problem. So now I am very stuck. I took out the ram and got three beeps which I think means that the motherboard is fine. I've reseated everything from ram to graphics card. Does anyone have experience in this situation? I have no spare parts so I have no way to really test anything. I just want this mess figured out already.

Solution
when everything is in POST is not completing. (Power On Self Test) POST when it detects a problem spits out a beep code, with the GPU POST cannot even finish to spit out a code.
unless you can test the GPU I'm going to say its the issue.

no access to another computer? friend or sibling? you just need a PC to put the GPU in and see if it works, ten minutes tops.
unplug the power cable from the motherboard and remove the battery for five minutes. replace the battery and the cable and try to boot again.
its either the motherboard (I doubt) or the GPU, putting GPU in another PC would answer the question.

I took out the gpu and I got what sounded like one long beep and then two short ones, or it could've been three of the same (hard to tell). So what exactly does this indicate and does this mean that gpu is likely the problem? And no, I don't have access to another pc. I do have a repair shop near me though and I think they would diagnose that for free.

"AWARD BIOS:
1 short - System boot successfull
2 short - CMOS setting error
1 long 1 short - DRAM or M/B error
1 long 2 short - Monitor or display card error
1 long 3 short - Keyboard error
1 long 9 short - BIOS ROM error
*repeated beeps - DRAM error
*repeated short beeps - Power error
*Repeated high & low beeps - Processor is damaged/Overheated"
I assume Award because of the beep codes you gave

Code is the correct one. Try testing different graphics card/ graphics port/video cable/ monitor.

put it back in and what does the motherboard say? you said three beeps in your initial post was that 1 long 2 short like now or three short beeps or three long beeps? if it was the same code the GPU is the most likely suspect

Alright thank you everyone. I will be taking my pc to a repair shop and they will put in a new graphics card and test to see if it posts. I'll keep you all informed on the outcome.
