Question PC not posting

I’m currently rebuilding my computer since it died a few years ago and just got all my main parts and figured I’d do a bench test. The MB gets power and lights up, but it doesn’t appear that anything else is booting up/receiving power, but I’m also not getting any lights from the indicator LED. Here’s a video of what’s happening, does anyone see anything wrong?

ASROCK b550m steel legend MB
EVGA 2080 ti (blower style)
16gb Corsair vengeance pro ram
Corsair 650m PSU
Ryzen 7 2700 CPU

Many B550 boards dont officially support 2000 series cpu's. Looking at your motherboards support page, I dont think it supports your 2700.

That would probably explain the CPU indicator that came on when I did finally get it powered on.

Get a board that supports the CPU and you should be all set.

I would get a newer generation Ryzen CPU that is fully supported. 👍

thanks, I’ll probably just get a x570m that is compatible with 2000 series and 5000 series so I can get my PC working now, then upgrade it when I can get a good deal on 5000 series CPUS
