Hey, i have a 2 month old pc. Last night it was on standby and didmt recover so i turned it off. Ever since then i hav been trying to turn it on but its not. The motherboard shows that its recieving power(button lights are on) but the pc itself isnt turning on. The motherboard is gigabyte z170x gaming gt and the PSU is corsair cx850m. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

A checklist to do: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems

But to me, it sounds like a PSU issue.

Note, your PSU is a Tier four unit.
PSU Tier list: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier...

I suggest you go and get a Tier two unit, preferably Tier one if you could afford it.

For tier two, i suggest Seasonic M12II-850 EVO (80+ Bronze, fully modular)
specs: https://seasonic.com/product/m12ii-850-evo/

For Tier one, Seasonic X-850 (80+ Gold, fully modular)
specs: https://seasonic.com/product/x-850/

But first, do the checklist and if it doesn't help, reply back to here.
