Question PC not receiving signal from network switch.

I have installed new Tplink sg1024d unmanaged switch at my home.After connecting it to my PC my PC is not recognizing that it is connected to a switch.But when I place a wifi router in between switch and my PC and connect it via ethernet cable, it works perfectly and gives me speed between 90 to 100mbps.
My configuration of network is - Modem->Wifi Router -> Switch.
My Motherboard is Asus Z370-F Gaming.

Unmanaged switches are very dumb devices. My guess is you have a cable problem that is preventing the PC and switch from autonegotiating the speed.
If you have in-wall cabling, that is the first place to check. A basic ethernet continuity tester can make diagnosis easier.

No,I dont have in-wall cabling.Also I have tested my ethernet connection using tester and all things seems to be okay.

It bothers me when you say "I place a wifi router in between switch...works." This is how it suppose to work, an ethernet switch HAS TO go AFTER the router.

It CANNOT be: Modem ---> Switch ----> Router.

UNLESS you have one of those combo Modem/Routers with 4 LAN ports in the back, and THEN u may find problems later on by adding ANOTHER router behind the Modem/Router combo.

I already have wifi router between modem and switch,but still my PC doesn't recognize that it's connected to switch,but when I place 2nd router after switch i.e. between switch and pc it works perfectly.
