Question PC not recognising new M.2 SSD

Hi so recently I bought a Samsung 970 evo ssd. I plugged it in and it doesn’t show in bios or when I try to install windows on to a device.

Parse your full system's specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Also make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard. Which slot did you populate the M.2 drive on your board?

CPU: I7 4790k
Motherboard: Asus Maximus Hero VII
RAM: Basic 16gb micron
Storage: 500gb 970 evo ssd m.2, 2tb seagate baracuda
GPU: MSI gaming x 1070

That’s probably all that’s relevant.
