V sync causes stutter when your FPS drops below what your monitor can do. Like you have a 60Hz monitor, and V Sync on. So if your FPS drops anywhere below 60 you'll have stutter. The solution is decrease in game settings so that you constantly get 60+fps, keep V Sync on. Then you shouldn't have stutter or at least it will be lesserCan playing on a 60 hz with vsync be the stutter problem in some games I with this card?
Stutters have to do with 1% and 0.1% lows and frame times. The higher your frame times, and the lower your 1% and 0.1% lows, the more your stutterI have a new build and when playing games I notice stutters but it says I got 60 fps.
Motherboard is msi x470 gaming plus max.
Ryzen 7 2700x
Sapphire pulse and rx 5600 xt
A m2 samsung 970 evo 500 gb
A 700 wat
16 gb of corsair ram
But this build shouldn't stutter ,so this info is not helping me at allStutters have to do with 1% and 0.1% lows and frame times. The higher your frame times, and the lower your 1% and 0.1% lows, the more your stutter
"shouldn't" stutter? What does that even mean? Almost every single build stutters here or there, especially if you don't have Freesync or G Sync. Check your video game benchmark on YouTube, check the 1% and 0.1% lows as well as frametime for your buildBut this build shouldn't stutter ,so this info is not helping me at all
Not required, but usually it's preferred, that's why Nvidia enabled freesync on their GPUs. And freesync monitors are cheap and available at the same price really. So it is nowadays on new builds required to buy a monitor with freesync ?
What game, what settings, what resolution? But sometimes it also much more then just a stutter , like whole game is running slow
What settings? I cant tell much with 1080p, what FPS are you getting in warzone at what settings? Origins has trash optimization it always gets low FPS. Every single AC game does thisWarzone for example and especially origins
What does "not smooth" mean? Do you mean low average FPS or stuttering? With origins I tried also lowering the settings ,Warzone is playable but not smoothly and fallen order jedi have some stutters
Well vertical sync is very finicky. You need a freesync monitor to make the most of that GPU. You're getting screen tearing because your GPU is putting out more FPS than the monitor can showAnd I forced to put my game on vertical sync with 60:hz screen otherwise heavy screen tearing
Vertical sync can screw up a lot of stuff, that has happened with me before. You need to try out a 144hz freesync monitor to feel the true smooth heavenPrograms and game says 60 fps but I feel my game is getting slower,Like stutter,or drops,
Also it looks like youtube videos are running slower
