[SOLVED] PC not start when install CPU fan?

Today I got a problem with my PC. Yesterday I turned on my PC and suddenly it didn't work. CPU cooler fan still spin but nothing on monitor and no light on keyboard and mouse, as well as the EZ Debuger flash on both CPU and Ram led frequently (I use MSI mainboard). Then I try to unplug 4 pins connector of CPU cooler fan from the mainboard (but still keep the fan on the mainboard ), it still didn't work. Only when I remove all screws and remove completely the CPU cooler fan from the mainboard, my PC start and boot normally.
I can't understand what is the problem.

Try checking the pins (socket, or CPU, depending on the used system).

Sounds like your cooler is shorting your system, make sure that you only lightly tighten your screws
alternatively maybe the fan is FUBAR - can you try it on another pc?

what cooler do you have?
