Hey guys,
after moving and transporting my PC, it will not start anymore. Whenever I press the Power button, it will "try" to load up for about one second, turn off, start again, and be stuck in an endless loop of this process.
I've never had any problems with power before, so I highly doubt it's related to the PSU.

What I've tried:

  • Multiple sockets / power cables
Made sure all cables inside are connected
Disconnected everything and rebuilt the original structure.

Specs:

  • Corsair TX 650 W
    Intel Core i5 4670 @3.6 Ghz
    MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
    ASUS B85 Vanguard
    20 GB G.-Skill Sniper (DDR3-1600 Mhz)

Another side note: After a longer break from using the PC, my network drivers were completely broken. This didn't happen all too long ago, so I'm not sure if that is related to the problem, but still found it interesting.

Thanks in advance!

Solution
Hi

Try building system outside the case
Using bare minimum of parts
Motherboard
Cpu integrated intel graphics & heatsink fan
1 stick of ram
Psu
Keyboard and mouse
Screen on motherboard graphics out
Boot off bootable usb stick with
Something like win 7, 8 or10 or linux disk

Reset cmos using jumper before powering on again
If you get into bios or uefi reset defaults and date & time

Use screwdriver on power on switch pins if you dont have a push to make switch

Use a volt meter on molex connector to ensure 12v and 5 v supplies are working
Black red 5 v. Black yellow 12 v

You may need a spare known working psu

(If modular psu check connections at psu sockets )

Toms hardware has a detailed faq on failure to start on new systems...

Just tested booting it up outside the case. I had the same problem with restarts again, but this time, the system would start after a few loops. Also, I can't bring it to show the BIOS on screen... Don't have a volt meter nor a USB-Medium available at the moment. There are two red LEDs on the board, one for the lacking boot device, one for VGA.
I checked the screen by the way, it is definitely working.
