Hey there,
About a year and a quarter ago I upgraded my Dell Inspiron 660s and moved it to a different case, by switching the motherboard and PSU to an ASUS P8H61-MX USB3 and a Corsair CX500M. The other day I upgraded my case again due to space limitations, but after assembling the PC together and switching the PC on, I realized nothing was happening. If I plug in the power supply to the motherboard and a power outlet, the LED on the motherboard shows that it is receiving, well, something.
I have a hunch that it has either to do with the power supply or the motherboard. I've tried arranging the front panel connections with the Power Button LED, Power Button Switch, Reset Switch, etc., but nothing still seems to work.
Is it possible that someone could point out what could be faulty?
Connections I have made:
- 24 Pin and 4 Pin power connectors
- SATA cables from the motherboard to a HDD, SSD and ODD
- 6 Pin connector from the PSU to a GTX650ti
- Both USB910 and USB78 connectors
- Front Panel Audio connectors
- Chassis fans to the 3 Pin CHA_FAN slot
My case is an Aerocool DS Cube.
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated - I have tried the most that I can and I'm not really getting anywhere.

Thanks!

it almost sounds like something shorted out during the transfer if you have multimeter check to see if your power supply is even putting out voltage.

because it sounds like either your motherboard or PSU is fried.

or you dont have the pc plugged in. (make sure if you have PSU with a switch on it that you is in the correct position)
- not trying to insult your intelligence just want to make sure that we got the obvious stuff out of the way

Update: I plugged a 3 pin connector from a fan into the motherboard, and all of the fans started up. However, nothing came up on the screen and after pressing the power button the fans switched off. I can't turn them back on, either.
Faulty PSU maybe?
