I think i busted my motherboard because my new GPU (1070ti FTW) is 3 slots and i attempted to put it in a micro atx motherboard so i think i busted one of my sata ports.

RAM sticks do not light, no output to monitors, no I/O functionality. GPU lights up. All fans spin. But after i put my new GPU in i saw that i basically bent the sata ports right under my gpu cause my gpu is fatter.

My guess is that i messed up my motherboard but i am not 100% sure what could be the issue. I am thinking i should just take apart the PC completely and rebuild it.

Do any of these symptoms sounds like something anyone has experienced

Update 1:
I attempted:
CMOS Reset
Removing Graphic Card and plugging DVI/VGA straight into motherboard
Trying different inputs with the GPU (VGA/DVI/HDMI)
Unplugging Harddrives and Booting into BIOS

All these attempts i get power to all internal components however no display from the motherboard

Please post your full system spec.

There is nothing inherently incompatible between a mATX board and a 3slot GPU - that's solely a case limitation, unless you're populating another PCI/PCIe slot of the 3 required.

Have you merely bent the SATA cable? Or actually pulled the port away from the board?

MB: GIGABYTE Z77M-D3H-MVP Micro AtX
CPU: 3770k I7
RAM: 2 x 8gb DDR3 Dominators
GPU: Previous EVGA 770, Attempted Upgrade 1070 TI
PSU: Rosewill Gold 750w

There was very visible presure on the sata cables when i had the 1070Ti in. Honestly i dont even think that is the issue

I will add this update to the main post. I attempted:
CMOS Reset
Removing Graphic Card and plugging DVI/VGA straight into motherboard
Trying different inputs with the GPU (VGA/DVI/HDMI)
Unplugging Harddrives and Booting into BIOS

All these attempts i get power to all internal components however no display from the motherboard
