PC not starting

Hi, when i press the power button, my pc does not power up (no sign of power light on). The fan run for a few seconds and stop & also no beeps at all.

I removed all my rams and no beeps when i start up. Is my pc's motherboard dead? or maybe there's some other solutions?

when was the last time you used your PC? was everything normal the last time you used it?

this is common on some computers when it hasnt been used for a while. some oxidation will develop around some components. lets just skip to what needs doing. try unplugging your power cord. turn off the PSU. usb/reseating your RAM/GPU. press your power button for a min. but everything back in and try to power it on again.

if it still doesnt boot up, try removing your GPU and connect your display cables to your motherboard. see if you can at least, boot to your BIOS.

I just used it last night and it was okay but..i remember that it was more noisy when i started up.

Why is there the step to pressing my power button for a min if the pc is not plugged? What's the purpose?

The computer is supposed to eliminate the residual static charge, but sometimes in such abnormal conditions it doesn't happen. Due to this the motherboard protects itself by turning itself off. This accounts for the symptoms you describe : fans spinning up but no POST, meaning that power is coming in but the motherboard does not function.

the 1min power push button does that static discharge.

This is weird, my computer turns out normal again.. This is what I done - I took out my hard drive to transfer some files over to another pc. Then I also removed all my rams. Now my pc has no hard drive nor ram, when i pressed the power button, it booted! & it also keeps giving me endless beeping.

I put my hard drive and rams back in and it booted normally but telling me that there's error with my disk and then repairing. After that, it is working normal again.

Last week, it doesn't even turn on without any beeps but now it is normal again? It is just unpredictable. Anyone with this experience before?
