So no ram or anything? If starting the board outside the case, only CPU and CPU cooler installed, no other wires than the power cables and the CPU cooler ones, still same issue?
Thanks, the fans did spin after I tired that. But I also started adding a few mor components back in, and it seems that the only time it happens is when the ram is in. If there’s not ram everything works fineNo RAM, no case fans, no storage drives, USB, audio, or front panel wires. Only CPU, CPU cooler, 24 and 8 pin power cables. Start the board by shorting the 2 pins corresponding to the case power button and see if the CPU fan does continuously spin.
I’ve taken out my cpu and had a look at it and there seems to be what looks like some thermal paste on the pins. Do you happen to know how I’d remove it?Then board, or CPU, I'd say. I would RMA them both, if under warranty and start also with a new pair of RAMs.
I’ve done that. And re is talked everything. The RAM now works and in conjunction with everything although no image is displaying on my screen and it’s double bootingTry with some isopropyl, a magnifying glass and a sharpen tool.
Yes, but it’s stuck in a boot loopAre you connecting the monitor to the graphics card, and not to motherboard?
