Question Pc not turning on unless I hot air blow the motherboard using hair dryer

I dont know what is the problem of my mobo.

If I turn off my pc overnight it wont turn on in the morning unless I hair dry my mobo. I tried leaving it off for 2hours it works fine and I tried not shutting it down for 2 days there wer no problem at all.

Short the power from mobo to make sure its not the switch that has problem

It sounds like you have a crack somewhere. Solder or circuit trace. Heating the board causes the metal to expand and make contact. You could try to localize it, then do a visual inspection, but I would probably just replace the motherboard.

What would be the cause of this? It just started doing that last week. My unit is only 1year old

Then you should investigate an RMA with the motherboard manufacturer.

i too exactly have the same problem i alredy tried replacing the motherblem and the problem was gone but after a few months the problem occured again. when a storm struck our hometown i havent used my pc for months b3cause there was no power for loke 2 months and when the power came back and tried my computer back on and it just turned on and the i thought it was gone already but after months it happened qgain. may i know if you have fixed it already?

Please don't hijack another user's thread with "I have exactly that problem"... The original user hasn't been on the board since March and never followed up after the recommendation to RMA the motherboard.

This doesn't sound even like a similar problem let alone the exact same one. In any case, the proper place to ask for help is in a new thread in which you list all your specs and provide clear details of the problem and explanation of the events.
