I've had this new PC for about 6 months now and it was working fine until last week. I was playing CS:GO which my computer can handle very well and my computer suddenly just blacked out, turned off for no reason. I tried to start it up again but nothing happened, it won't get any power. At first i thougth it was the PSU, so i tried another PC's PSU and it didn't change anything (i also tried my PSU on the other computer and it worked). After that i was getting desperate so i even tried to switch cases in case it was a problem with the power button, tried to disconnect ram, GPU, take the battery off for about a minute and reconnect it, hold the power button, nothing worked. That only leaves me to believe that the motherboard is the problem (GA-B85M-D3PH) I've contacted gigabyte about a week ago but they still haven't answered.

Specs:

Motherboard: B85M-D3PH
GPU: GTX 760
CPU: i7-4790k (not clocked)
RAM: 2x 8gb
550 psu
500gb ssd
300gb hd

I don't know what else i can do.

"tried to disconnect ram, GPU" technically i already did that.

Also that computer isn't with me, it's a friends computer, so i can't try that again.

Couple other things you can check. Make sure you actually have power at the wall socket, it's not unheard of for bad wiring to take a hit with constant amperage draws like from a pc. Change the power cord from wall to psu, they are a dime a dozen part that often gets overlooked in QC, all it takes is 1 prong to suffer and you get nothing. Just like when extension cords fail after a while. Good way to test the wall socket is with a hairdryer, turn it on for 5 minutes, then check the prongs, neither should be hot. Of they are hot, your whole issue is with the house wiring, not the pc.

Well, i am using that same wall socket right now for other stuff and it works fine. My TV still works, my chargers work, notebook charger. Everything that i was using when the pc turned off was still working fine. Also, i've just tried plugging the pc in other places of the house and nothing (just in case, why not).

Good idea. Can't hurt to test anything and everything possible or even if you think it improbable. But I would try a different power cord too. If it's run through a powerstrip (many do since the printer, pc, lamp, monitor(s), pc speakers) try without it.
If all else fails, you'll be reduced to breadboarding the mobo. If it will not start with just a mobo, 1 stick of ram, cpu+cooler, little pc piezo speaker and psu connected (absolutely nothing else), with a known working psu it's almost a given that the mobo has quit. If the ram was bad or cpu bad, you'll get an explosion of beeps, if it's some other component, you'll get 1 beep. No beeps and no cpu fan = dead mobo
