Problem
Played games all night last night, computer working perfect. Woke up in the morning and started the pc up and the pc would not boot into windows. I restarted the pc several times, and eventually my pc got into windows. It pretty laggy, then went to a black screen and restarted itself again. The pc goes through times where its laggy and does not want to work, and there are times where it wants to work.

What I have done to resolve this problem

  • I rolled back my video card drivers
    I updated my BIOS
I benchmarked my video cards & they were stable
I checked the temps of my CPU & they just reached 60 degrees Celsius

I just need to run a memory test using memtest86+, i did a test last week and remembered it only came up with 1 error.

Please if someone can help me, I have been trying to resolve this problem in weeks. Thankyou

I highly doubt your problem is in hardware. You should boot into safe mode and run a virus scan, because it sounds like you probably have one.
After that you should also check msconfig and make sure there isn't a lot of things set to start when the computer boots that you don't need or want.
If neither of these resolve it try loading a system backup, because your issues definitely sound software related, not hardware.

Also, if after this solves the problem, you might also consider getting more RAM. I don't think it is the cause of your problem right now, but you have a lot of really top notch hardware, great build, but only 1 stick of RAM at 8gb. Multiple sticks of RAM tend to work faster as more information can pass through the connections, as there are twice as many connections. Especially in dual-channel mode. This is the only area in your system with even the slightest sign of weakness, and really 8GB is really good just the rest of your system really awesome.

I just did a re install of windows a day ago man, I switched my video cards around and so far I have had no problems :)
