Question PC occasionally starts without display

Hi all, I've just built my first computer not long ago, I had no trouble whatsoever when building and everything seem to work as expected.

My problem is that today when I boot my computer up, everything powered on (cpu cooler fan, case fans, rgb ram, gpu rgb) but there was no display.

What I noticed is that despite the gpu rgb, the fan was not spinning as it usually does. So I imagine the cause would be due to my GPU.

Nevertheless, a quick restart fixed my issue.

When gaming, everything works fine and the system never crashes so I'm wondering why my gpu is having issue starting up today. Your expert opinion would be greatly appreciated.

System:
Ryzen 7 3700
Asus B550i
Trident z neo 32gb (2x16) 3600mhz c16
Kingston A2000 1 TB NVME
Vega 56 8gb airboosted
SF750

Try updating your BIOS.

Andy
Just updating to the latest BIOS firmware (1004). It was on the first very first firmware that it shipped with. Hope this will iron out the issues.

Just wondering, is it normal for my BIOS setting to be reverted back to factory setting after a bios update? I had to redo my XMP profile and custom fan curves.
