Such a money conversion does in practicallity not work,if you take your list and at the right hand top switch country to UK it will show £1474.68 without windows added.
I do agree on the parts,where with your system it does give good parts while with that pre build you might just get a (if your're lucky) meh psu and somewhat decent ssd.

What do you mpickstonbishop actually mean by "I can't afford to build one",cause can't afford sounds sometimes like don't know how to ... and if really a money issue,what would be a max budget for you? If i may ask of course ...

Really need the i7? Not that it isn't a good choice ... ,but the 8400/8600 are for gaming purposes mostly good enough.
