Question Pc only booting in safe mode after new ram install

New ram install ( 8g gskill previously only had 8g of exact same ram ) monitor stays dark at startup. If i hold power button and start in safe mode i can enter BIOS and boot normally from there.

Unfortunately mixed RAM modules are not guaranteed compatibility. Even if they are the exact same make / model, they are still mixed. RAM is only guaranteed in the form sold (from the exact same pack) and could be causing conflicts when your full OS is loading with all third party drivers.

Assuming you have installed them as per the motherboard manual? (if it is a desktop).

Did you reset CMOS after adding the new RAM also?

I have not and not quite sure how to reset it as I do not know what is it.

I am also currently on my PC and everything is working fine, the only prob is that i have to take a extra step to boot my pc.
