Ok so something weird is happening with my pc and i need help.
I build my computer a year ago and never had a problem really until now..
So here it is..
everytime i shut down or restart the pc i get a blank screen with a little white dash sign in the middle of the screen, (SORT OF THE TOP LEFT) the HDD led doesn't light up and it beeps 3 seconds earlier than usual.. It keeps doing this until i unplug the power and plug it back in then it boots up fine as normal.... Until i restart again
anyone know what could be causing this??

Intel core i7 4790k 4.0 GHz with Hyper 212 evo cooler
Asus z97p Motherboard
Msi r9 280x
Windows 10.
