PC only boots with 1 Ram stick, Both of the sticks work

I have built a pc today.

I have a 6700k, Gigabyte Z170 k3-eu motherboard and 2x8gb of cosair lpx 2666mhz RAM.

When i boot then PC with both of the ram sticks, the motherboard's light turn on, fans start spinning, no lights on the mouse, keyboard nor monitor turn on.

After a while the PC will restart and keep doing it, the PC just restart loops.

When i boot with just 1 stick of RAM, the PC works fine and it posts without issues.
I have tried the other stick and it works fine.

I tried putting with both of the RAM sticks in different slots and the same issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Were these two DIMMs purchased as a set or are they just randomly being used together ?

That is a tough one. Chicken or egg??? MB problem, CPU problem, or RAM problem???? Did you examine the CPU socket for bent pins?

I have not no, i know the ram is fully working.

If there anything i can do software side before trying to do things hardware side?

both of the RAM sticks work fine in slot 3&4 and together, it seems like slots 1&2 are broken.

Would i need to replace the CPU or The motherboard or both?

IT is not fixed, the pins on the motherboard were bent.

How badly are the pins bent? About how many bent pins are there? You can try to straighten them out with the tip of a mechanical pencil (with the lead removed).
