Hello I just built my new pc with an i7 9700k and an ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E Mobo and a kit of 2x8 G. Skill trident z RGB and my pc only likes to boot with 1 stick, both ram sticks glow, if anyone could provide help thank you

Solution
your 2133 timing maybe too tight for 3200. you can't just change the frequency with touching the timing.

look at your manual if you are unsure how to use the XMP profile. basically XMP profile contains a number of pre tested RAM settings, by turning this ON, the BIOS automatically applies these value to the appropriate settings.

what speed are they. have you tried to boot them using other rams slots (a1/b1)?

try reset the bios and boot it in default BIOS settings. also, check and see if you are cpu is mounted properly and there is not bent pins.
They are 3200, I changed my BIOS earlier today to match the speed I will try reseating the other ram when I get home

how did you change them? normally you just need to turn on the XMP. that save & reset.
the frequency was set to 2133 and I changed it to 3200 like the ram but didn’t try it also with the other stick only 1 so far

Have you updated to the latest bios?
Quite a few G..Sklll DDR4-3200's listed in the QVL - surprised that it's being this difficult.
do A2 and B2 work individually?
Hello, I updated the bios and enabled XMP but still no boot, I plan to try with my friends set of ram sometime tomorrow, both sticks glow but it just doesnt want to post...
