Question PC only goes on if i press power button continously

😕 hi wondering if someone can help. My PC at times will only switch on if i press the power button on and off continously. My previous old pc did that and eventually just didnt work anymore.

i have taken my PC apart and put it together again and it worked for 1 day. Now if doing it again.
i have a B150 gigabyte motherboard and I5 7500 CPU. 600watt corsair. EvGA 1080 FTW 2 graphics card. With a 1 TB seagare hybrid drive.

please anybody have advice.

Could easily be the power supply.

What exact 600W Corsair power supply is it? The most common Corsair PSUs seen that are 600W are older VS and CX models, both rather low-quality power supplies, especially for a build that had a 1080.

I'm going to look for a new power supply. Could it be my motherboard?ive got it running atm after pressing power button a bunch of times its a new case so power button still new.
