I have a PC that will only start some times. Press the button and nothing, absolutely powerless, and then other times it just starts. Even stranger, after trying to turn on, minutes later it will just start up itself.
I have changed the power supply and reversed the start and reset switches on the Lian Li case to eliminate these possibilities. I have also disconnected everything not required to start the machine and have tried different ram configurations and have sent back 2 by 2gb sticks as they were faulty.
Specs: Gigabyte EP45-ud3p Rev 1.6 mother board. 2 x 2gb ram. 3.15 gigahertz Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
This is driving me nuts, any idea’s appreciated.
