Hello all

My Computer as of recent has been running sort of hot for a reason I have no idea why. Sometime last month my graphics card started to overheat for unexplained reasons. I thought it was just a random occurrence until the performance went into the ground and overheated on simple games. So I did the obvious thing and sent in my gpu to EVGA, got my new card in, and the same problem! minus the performance dunk, my gpu was getting strangely hot for rather easy to run games. So I just set my framerate lock at 60 and ignored the issue. I was wondering if anyone has any information as to why this could be happening? I'm almost positive it's not a hardware issue, as my cooling system is fine, one front 30mm fan, one side I think a 90mm, I have a rear 30mm, a bottom 30mm (PSU fan) and plenty of room for air flow. I know this isn't the cause because I've had this PC for 2 years without overheating until recently. I also noticed the LEDs on the front 30mm fan just started to go, but when I switched the power input they were fine. All my drivers are updated and I'm virus free. I'll leave my specs below, but I believe it's one of two problems.

1. My motherboard is a ASUS M5A97 AM3+, and it's a little lower end, so this may be one of the problems, because the rest of my hardware is really not low end at all.

2. My HDD is a 1TB 5200rpm from like 2008, I don't know why this would be an issue, my technical knowledge isn't that great, but it's the oldest component so I figured I'd list it.

Specs;
Windows 7
CPU: AMD FX-8350 Eight core @ 4.0GHZ
GPU: GeForce EVGA GTX 670 (4gb)
RAM: G.Skill Sniper 16gb 2x8gb
PSU: Raidmax RX-700AC
3 30mm Fans
1 90mm Fan
1TB 5200rph HDD

Any help or advice is much appreciated!
