Hello, my PC is getting very hot when playing games, its around 39C whereas before it would be around 30C. I have recently added a new GPU and my PSU is 500W but quite cheap. Im also getting FPS drops while playing, could this be the PSU or something else?
Thanks

What is that a temperature of? You need CPU and GPU specific temps to really get an idea of whether or not overheating is an issue.

Specifically, what parts are you using? Can't know if the PSU is a problem if we don't know what the graphics card is and the power requirements needed.

Gigabyte 7790 2gb
FX 4350 4.2ghz
8gb ram
Gigabyte 78lmt usb-3 motherboard

GPU (7790) - 37C
CPU (4350) - 7-8C

Whilst playing BF4 for 15 mins
CPU - 49.0C, 49.5C, 51.0C
GPU - 59.0C, 61.0C, 63.0C

Those temps are more than fine. You're not overheating in the slightest. Are your settings just too high for your hardware? Knock the quality down a notch and see if it makes a difference for your game play re:FPS drops.

Okay thanks, but my psu is a 'ATX Power Supply unit 500w' and I think thats why my PC is louder than usual when playing. Btw, im getting this as a replacement:

will this be sufficient for my PC?
