About a month ago, my computer started reaching temps of 70-90C, not even under full load. I thought my aio liquid cooler was failing, so I took it out and did some checking on it( only installed in 6 months prior, used). The aio cooler to my understanding was working fine and there was no issues, I even reapplied new thermal paste and nothing changed. My only thoughts now are that either my CPU is on the verge of failing and lost w/e thermal conductivity it had, if that's even possible. Or my motherboard is reporting false temps. I took some screenshots of my temps from HWinfo. Should I try to fix the problem or just upgrade my parts.
Edit: Updated HWMonitor images

Mind listing your specs for your build like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

If the specs to your build are in your sig space, please find it in your heart to state them in the body of your thread. Reasoning behind that is that over time sig space specs can and will change, when that does this thread and it's relevant suggestions become irrelevant to the user in the same boat as you.

Can you check and see what your BIOS version is at the time of writing? You state installing the H100i in the builds 6 months prior, what were you using prior to the H100i? As for your screenshots, can you take a look at Task manager and monitor your system resource usage while the system is idling?

Here's what happened when my H100i failed. My Ryzen 1700 was overheating, while surfing the web. Basically idle. Everything was laggy. Hitching. So I knew it was the AIO after checking temps, 90 C or so.
The AIO sounded like there was a loose ball bearing inside it, rotating. I had headphones on, couldn't hear it. For the sake of it, I opened it and filled it with more water. The noise continued, CPU overheated. I threw it in the trash. I got 5-6 years of use out of it. I think the manufacturer counts on 3-5.

Does yours make noise it has never done before? And how would you spot pumpdamage exactly?
If you have an aircooler for the CPU lying around, I would test that as well. Compare. Is it the same or worse?

My Bios version is 4101. Prior to installing the H100i, I was using my original aio cooler NZXT Kraken X61, lasted me 5 years until water permeation became a issue. The temps I am getting are just from simply having my background programs running at start up and running a singular game, CPU is only at like 30% load and I am already reaching temps for 80-90C. I had multiple instances where my computer just auto rebooted from overheating. I updated HWmonitor images to better reflect my temp issues. Also which is my real temps? I am getting different CPU temps depending on the software I use.
