Parts:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3950x
GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Super Black
Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI
SSD: Samsung 970 EVO M.2
AIO Cooler: Cooler Master Master Liquid ML240L RGB
PSU: ThermalTake 850W Modular
RAM: G.Skill TridentZ 32gbs (2x16gbs)

Tried to play games, such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Valorant and both games forced a restart due to CPU reaching around 95C. Would upgrading to a x570 motherboard help with this? Another idea was to add one more case fan, would that help as well?

Solution
That AIO is small for a Ryzen 9 3950X. Try forcing the fan speed to 100% and see if temperatures drop. You should be able to set the CPU fan speed in the motherboard BIOS. If that helps even a little that means the cooler is too small and/or case air flow is not good enough.

Have you reapplied the CPU thermal paste? Also does your AIO make any weird noises?

Note: AIO can get air bubbles causing your cooling to not work. There are lots of videos on YouTube that will show you how to get air bubbles out.
