Hello everyone thank you for reading and thank you for trying to give me some advice for my future builds:

So question is I built a PC couple days ago so those are the specs

I have 165hz benq monitor, just in case 1080P and yes I Kno 7900 xt is overkill..

Ryzen 5 5600 ( OC 4.6 )
140mm deepcool cooler
2*8 Adata xpg d50 3200 mhz 16-20-20-20 ( will oc later)
1tb Msi 450m gen 4.0
Msi 550 pro
Rx 7900 xt
Super flower 850w gold
4x140mm 1x120mm Arctic fans

So at the beginning I was trying to build system like this:

Ryzen 7600x
Same deepcool cooler
Msi b650 mobo
2*8 6000mhz ram
512gb cheapest ssd
Rx 6950 xt or 6900 xt
Super flower 850w gold
Cheap case and cheap 120mm fans

After careful considerations my friend, told me that Upgrading CPU after to something like 5800x3d or even moving to 7th platform is going to be cheaper than upgrading GPU....
So did I made a good choice building my PC or I've should've gone with second build instead?

Any future advice ? Because I love building PCs and after some times I sell old PC to build new one and add some money....

Maybe add another set of that RAM in the future for a total of 32GB.

Do you think it's going to do something ? I'm dang sure 5600 will bottleneck 7900 xt 🤔. One more pair of RAMs is not that much expensive but I believe upgrading CPU should be in first priority no ? Any any thoughts on my question? Like... What build would you prefer ? 1 or 2 one ?

I would just return the 5600 and get the 5800X3D

I would say buy the memory capacity you want now rather than trying to add system memory. Return the CPU and memory and order a 2x16GB kit of 3600 along with the 5800X3D.

Or also return the motherboard and go straight to 7700X3D and 2x16GB of DDR5 6000 or 6400.

I would also look into a better CPU cooler.

Nah man 😅 if I had money I need no instructions on that. Budget on my salary allowed me 5600 and there is no return policy in my country 😅. I have taste 🤣🤣 it's about the money... 7700x + mobo + Ram is freaking 50% of my salary 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'll gram 5800 after this month I guess..
But hey thanks...

Idk how is gonna be 5800 but 5600 runs 46° while gaming 😅 it's ok..

you remind me of myself when you say i love building pcs and work with that and buy another better one.
like you iupgraded my build just 2 days ago..
but IMO intel is more valuable than amd
first yoy gotta say how much is the value of this build? i mean your pc budget
but i preffer intel because is cooler and cheaper--we are seeking for performance not anything else

You don't say, I don't like intel because some times it seems like it's loosing power after some time I know it's not. But what ever I remember i5 - 10400f aka (amd killer) and 9400f (past gen amd killer) and now they bother getting destroyed by amd.. i don't know it feels like that I had 1200$ only. For everything besides monitor.

well put aside 9th gen bc from 10th gen intel hyper-t technology shaked the performance of systems.
from every other person that you ask he will tell you amd is more expensive than its equiv. in intel
but amd has its own fans. i cant deny it
but if i was in your shoes with 1200 bucks i would afford 12th gen of i7 with 40 series of gpu
my build is just 580 bucks and im in 10th gen of i7 paired with rtx 2060 s .
and im really satisfied

this was just a guidance so no harm bro

All good mate, :) I'm always free for advice. Thing is I was going for 4070 and it's much much slower than 7900 xt, and even 4070 ti is some times slower and Worth more. I hade 3070 FE before upgrading. I just personally don't like Intel because of only specific processor and mobo combo overclock.( I mean K segment processors and Z type mobos ) I Kno my 5600 is bottlenecking 7900 xt, I will upgrade to 5800x or x3d later.
About Nvidia I love shadow-play and stuff but much more expensive than AMD gpus 🤷. I love price to performance of AMD

I really wish ppl would just not involve the term 'bottleneck' when comparing the performance of a cpu to a gpu, because most have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

Most of the stuff done on a pc is 2d. Windows is essentially 2d. Office, Adobe, Photoshop, email, tik-tok, facebook, all of it 2d and could easily be done on any igpu or entry level gpu.

Only games (for the vast majority of users) are 3d and actually see any real gpu usage. How much depends on the game, the coding etc. Play heavily modded Skyrim and that's all about the cpu, there's very few 3d objects, most of any scene is 2d. It'll play on a mid level gpu and still get 60fps, all day long, there's literally no advantage to anything faster.

The only time a high level gpu is required is for certain games that really punish a gpu with details, ray tracing, benefits for fps etc.

So for someone to blatantly just say they are 'dang sure' the 5600 will bottleneck a 7900xt is talking out their a**. Even at 1080p, there's multiple games that'll stress that card with Uber detail levels, ray tracing, DLSS and still have the fps.

Hey 😊, I understand it some times makes me cringe to 🤣. I'm playing fps games like apex and ECT, I'm talking about not using full potential of GPU with 1080p monitor. Getting 150+ fps in single player games is like too much it needs QHD or more :) just bottlenecking is Easter to explain that's way.

A bottle neck is something that's packed so hard, that it slows down the info to the next component. A 13900k can be a bottleneck to a gpu under certain circumstances, like CSGO, which only uses 2 threads. It'll hit 100% on those 2 threads, and go no further. You'll see multiple games, especially with high power gpus, that are cpu bound where even a 13600k is getting the same fps as a 13900k. That's a bottleneck, but has not much to do with anything other than the game in question. A different game, like WoW, is the opposite, uses cores like crazy, so the gpu can be the bottleneck.

But it's not really a bottleneck when a component gets underused, whether that's the cpu or gpu because that always happens, there's no perfect balance.

Games are more normally cpu bound at 1080p, gpu bound at 4k, but that's still not perfect because you can always use a 4k DSR at 1080p and get a better picture as the gpu has to work harder to render in 4k before final render in 1080p.
