PC Parts Upgrade Hoping For Feedback

Asus Maximus V Gene Motherboard

Currently have a 980ti and a new 1000W EVGA PSU

Things I do with my PC:
Game (mostly Path of Exile)
Stream on Twitch (use OBS)
Record Videos and upload to YouTube
Video Editing with Pro Premier, After Effects (small scale stuff though)
Watch videos and stream music while playing games

I mostly want to make sure I wont have any problems streaming and making videos. Currently I feel my stream quality is lacking because of how old some of my parts are. My budget is to stay around $500.

What sort of network gear do you have? That can make as big a deal in streaming as anything...

The 1700x will do better at multi-core work.

Not sure what you mean by network gear? I am hard wired, 100mbs download/11.5mbs upload. My settings for OBS are good. I feel that my PC is just overworking. I am using force air cooling only as of right now. It is time to upgrade which is what I want to do, and I feel the parts that I am upgrading should make for a big performance boost.

I will also add that I could potentially build a stream only desktop with the older spare parts and use the new setup for gaming only. Just have to add in a capture card right? I have a spare PSU, may have to get another cheap case as well.
