What's the best replacement for an i7-7700? (I'm looking for Intel non oc gaming CPUs)
I want the new CPU to work well with my new 1660Ti and my 80+ gold 550W PSU.
And in your suggestions please add a favorable motherboard and 2x8GB RAMs...I'm new to this and confused at the moment.I can spend up to 400-500€ for CPU,Motherboard and RAMs

Any reason your replacing your 7700? It's still an excellent CPU and with the right resolution could easily drive a high end GPU such as the 2080S or 2080 ti.



Even if you prefer not to overclock I'd suggest the AMD Ryzen 3600 as it performs quite well right out of the box for the price.

If you want Intel though there's the non K versions of the 8700, 9700 & 9900 but there quite expensive if you consider the price of the CPU & a decent aftermarket cooler as the stock ones are junk.

I have a new CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Black Edition...I forgot to mention it...Can i use it in the AMD build? If not,the stock cooler will be good enough compared to other 25-50€ coolers?

As long as it has the AM4 bracket (it should) then it would be fine to use with the AMD system. It performs a little bit better then the stock cooler and is much quieter so it would be good to reuse.

I must ask, is your 7700 not good enough for your current needs?

The temperatures are high even for a 7700.It can get up to 80 degrees without high usage,utility etc.Without load its always 50-55 degrees.No dust,PSU,cable management,thermal paste problems etc...I ran benchmark on Intel Extreme tuning utility and it went to 92 degrees when it was on 95-100% utility.I know that it's a hot CPU but I don't feel good with this.I used it for 2 years and i think it's time to move on.

Yea that's pretty hot and if you've tried things such as redoing the thermal paste, increasing airflow then I suppose it's time to move on although getting a better cooler may be ideal and would save you quite a bit of money. There's also deliding to consider.

Anyways if you want to upgrade the two options above would be a decent upgrade.

One last thing I'd suggest before replacing that 7700 is the CPU cooler, this one should be more then enough but you'd want to make sure there's enough space in your case to use it.
