I have had my PC for around 2 years now, I have upgraded my graphics card from a 2GB one to 1050Ti, and bought an SSD. Overall the PC worked great until the end of 2018. Suddenly my whole PC performance dropped. What I mean by that, is that lots of games started lagging, stuttering (hell even League of Legends sometimes).
I had stable 60 fps in R6S, and then at around December after not playing for a while, the whole game started lagging, stuttering and having screen tearing. I think what might have cause the problem is the monitor. I upgraded from a 1440x900 to a 1620x1050. But I think that my Graphics card is good enough for this. Also what probably "lags" the most is probably CPU. In example, if I turn the CPU demanding options in some games, they work A BIT better. Also idk if that helps with something, but recently I noticed my FX8320e started working on 3.5 Ghz instead of the normal 3.2 Ghz (I haven't messed with overclocking!). Can anyone help me?

yeah if your your monitor has got a higher resolution, it has got more detail on the screen.
Which means your graphics card needs to work harder.

your fx8320 is working fine, I would not mess with that., however its jsut old...
I honestly don't think if it's working fine when I get little stutters every time cpu intensive physics happen in the game (Explosions, ragdoll, holes in the walls are made etc.)
Why would my graphics card be the problem if I have put my settings on the lowest and there are still problems? Also I have tried my games on my lower resolution monitor and same things keep happening.
