So I have a PC issue. I used to have 2 gtx 1070s with SLI and I removed one and gave to a friend, now my computer is not running very well, I'm trying to get into the streaming and recording part of YouTube/Twitch but after removing the 2nd Graphics Card streaming and recording does not work properly anymore does anyone know what
I can do besides spending 500$+ for another card or buying a new PC?

What are your complete specs?

SLI isn't usually much if any of a performance gain, and in many cases its worse, almost everyone will recommend a more powerful card over SLI. As far as streaming typically it is more of a CPU related issue unless the streaming/encoding software has a GPU utilization option like OBS does.

Also be sure any SLI options are disabled in the Nvidia control panel along with the performance mode set to max and not power saving.

Finally be sure that your 1070 is in the PCIe 3.0 16x slot in your motherboard.

I have a i7-6700K @ 4.00GHz, 16.0 GB of RAM, Windows 10, Mother Board is a Z170A and a EVGA GTX 1070 Blower @ 8GB.
