Hey guys, I just got a new PC with fairly decent specs. It ran great for the first week but due to a problem with Windows Update I had to reformat it. Currently it's running well and I've managed to avoid Windows Update problems but I'm worried that occupying space like adding more games, updates, drivers, etc. will affect my performance. Especially since I've been adding back the old games I had during the first week. (Far Cry 3, Chivalry, Battlefield, etc.) I'm also worried that the reformat and the resulting partition/drive overwrite negatively affected my PC's performance. Also I've been getting pop-ups from Microsoft basically saying that I won't be able to get new updates from them due to my processor being designed for the latest version of Windows; I'd like some context on this too please, thanks!
These are my specs:
Intel G4560 Pentium
GTX 750 Ti
8 GB RAM
Seagate 1 Terrabyte HDD
Asrock H110M-HDV
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1.
EDIT: I'd like to add that I've added games to my hard drive now and I'm currently occupying 796 GB out of 931 GB, just thought this might be a factor.
