[SOLVED] PC performing below expectations

i recently bought an asrock z590 phantom gaming 4, with i5-11400f and rtx 2060, and i saw benchmarks on youtube and, for example, it was getting around 170 fps on gtav and i can barely get 100 fps (

- the video i saw) i updated the bios, verified the drivers, i think i did all i could but i still get the same "bad" performance, can some1 help pls

also i just noticed my ram is G.SKILL Aegis 16GB (1x16GB) DDR4-2400MHz CL15 idk if it affects anything or not so yea

Single channel is a no-no. That would've been OK, like 10 years ago...
A 2x 8GB kit of 3200 CL14 - 3600 CL16, would be nice.

The premium you spent on the Z-series motherboard, could've gone towards the ram kit.
I'd suggest returning that mobo and ram, and getting a B560 board and ram like I mentioned earlier.

Fix the ram config first, and if you're still having problems after that, it can be looked into later.

The ram should've been the biggest wrench though.
