PC performing extremely poorly all of a sudden

Hello, My PC was performing very well since its inception but for the past month or so it's giving me problems. I dont get a decent fps in paladins (In which i used to get 120 fps or something). These are the benchmark results: http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/5408694

I dont know what's gone wrong all of a sudden. Please advice.

P.S the fan has been making a loud noise when booting up, might that be the problem?

What has changed?
I might first suspect that your cpu cooler might have come loose.

sounds like a bad fan somewhere in the computer. possibly the CPU cooler
