[SOLVED] PC performing way below expectations

Hi, and thanks in advance for any help -

I recently bought a prebuilt but have been getting bad very performance any time the internet is in use (downloading or watching streams etc.)
I ran a benchmark test and the results say that the PC is performing way below expectations, but im not sure how to troubleshoot it.

The system specs are:
Psu: Gigabyte ATX 750W 80+ Gold Power Supply - P750GM Fully Modular
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z490 AORUS ELITE AC motherboard - Z490 / LGA1200 / ATX
CPU: Intel Core i7-10700KF processor - 3.8GHz / 16Mo / LGA1200 / Ss Vent./BOX
Ram: Gigabyte GP-ARS16G32 RGB PC Memory (4x8GB DDR4 3200 PC25600)
Storage: Gigabyte 1TB M.2 NVMe Gen4 SSD - AORUS GP-AG41TB
GPU: Gigabyte AORUS RTX 3080 MASTER 10G graphics card - RTX3080 / 10G / HDMI / DP
Windows 10 Home Advanced

that diagnostic is basically crap - your NVMe drive benchmarks ok but it claims you're way below avg which is BS - your RAM is a bit slow @2666 - XMP not enabled, maybe the 4 banks?

aside from that there's nothing wrong with your system, don't base it on a garbage diagnostic

you didn't mention what bandwidth you have for internet and what you're getting - could just be bad QOS setting.

and the CPU cooler is : Gigabyte AORUS Liquid Cooler 240
There are 4 fans in the case, arranged like this

I generally get around 20-30 MB/s, the performance gets worse based on how much data it's using

OK that's the other issue - your temps are way high - make sure your cooler is properly seated, you probably need to get a better one as your processor is throttling due to temp.

if min temp is 95'c - you have an improperly installed cooler

The cooler isn't properly attached, or the plastic is still on the block, or the pump isn't working.

Thanks for the responses, it turned out that they hadnt connected the cooler to the psu, fixed now!

Yup, that's what you get with prebuilts, unfortunately!

If that is, how radiator is installed in your pc, then you need to flip it upside down (tubes should be connected to lower part of radiator).
If not, then air is going to get trapped in upper portion of the radiator and will impair liquid circulation.

Since air rises to the surface(top) in water, wouldn't it make more sense to have the hoses on top?

No. You don't want air to go into the hoses.

The concept is to keep the return hose below water level at all times. That way, there is always a feed back to the pump.

So its better to have an air bubble trapped in the top of the radiator? With the hoses on the bottom the only way to ensure all the air is gone is turn the PC upside-down while its running.

All radiators in vehicle radiatore have inlet on top and outlet on bottom. That is to prevent deadlocked air from rendering radiator surface area null.

PC radiators should be designed like car radiators with inlet on top and outlet on bottom.
