[SOLVED] PC Placement Question

Hello,

I apologise in advance if this question is in the wrong section. I was thinking about putting my pc against a wall but it would have a 2 double socket (4 inlets or outlets sockets) plug/ power outlet directly behind it/ in contact with it.

Would having the plug so close to my pc cause any damage to any of the components, is it a bad idea to have it so close to any electrical field the electrical sockets may emit?

Proximity to a wall outlet does not impact performance, lifespan, or any other aspect of a PC.

If a wall is "in contact with" the computer, that could potentially restrict airflow though, possibly causing cooling issues. You'll want to make sure the vents in back are not getting blocked, at the very least.

There is no vent on that side of the case but still appreciate the advice. Will be putting the pc side long along the wall so it should be fine, thanks.
